Pawandeep Sekhon, DDS – Sleep Dentistry of Portland

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Pawandeep Sekhon completed her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. She furthered her training through a General Practice Residency in British Columbia and practiced in rural areas, including Haida Gwaii. Dr. Sekhon volunteers with the Oregon Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care to underserved populations. She focuses on building trusting relationships with her patients to help them overcome dental anxieties.Outside the office, Dr. Sekhon enjoys cooking, dancing, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children.

Carla Castro, DDS – Sleep Dentistry of Portland

Dr. Carla Castro earned her dental degree from UCLA and completed a General Practice Residency at the Portland VA Hospital, gaining extensive experience with medically compromised patients. She is dedicated to patient care and education, aiming to empower patients to maintain healthy smiles. Dr. Castro strives to create a comfortable environment where patients feel informed and at ease throughout their dental journey. Residing in the Portland area for the past three years, she enjoys exploring the region’s natural beauty and spending time with her family, including her young daughter.

She not only works attentively by listening to and solving patients' concerns, but also works daily with the Practice Managers and doctors to ensure they have the tools and assets they need to deliver exemplary care. Outside of work, Kelli and her husband enjoy dining at local restaurants, traveling, and attending live concerts.

A native of Portland, Rae moved to the Vancouver area to be closer to her family. She began her career as a dental assistant in oral surgery before graduating at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Pacific University. In 2024, she saw an opportunity to expand her impact on patients’ lives and became a practice manager. She enjoys working with patients and educating her team on all aspects of the dental profession. Outside the office, Rae enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and hiking the trails of the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their two dogs.

She has been with Sleep Dentistry of Portland for over 38 years and has participated in numerous continuing education courses to stay current with advancements in dental hygiene. Maria is passionate about providing gentle and thorough care, ensuring her patients maintain optimal oral health. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

She graduated with honors from Clark College with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. While still in school in 2020, Madison began her career at Sleep Dentistry as a sedation monitoring assistant and sterilization technician. Her patients appreciate her comforting and reassuring demeanor that puts them at ease. Away from the office, Madison enjoys working out, watching reality TV, and sampling new local restaurants. She’s also an active volunteer for community dentistry initiatives.
