Kelli brings over two decades of experience as a leader in dentistry. As the Practice Manager, Kelli oversees all day-to-day operations of the office to ensure a great experience for every patient and her team. Kelli appreciates the opportunity to listen to patients, understand their unique stories, and strives to help bring comfort to those who tend to experience anxiety while receiving dental care. She feels so thankful to be part of such a great team who are dedicated to providing the best dental care for their patients.
As an empty nester, when Kelli is not in the office, she is home spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Sam and Lucy. She loves being a mom to their daughter, having family dinner at a local restaurant and enjoying a good cup of coffee. She also enjoys traveling and live music.
Born and raised in Gresham, Oregon, Shayla started her career as a dental assistant in 2012 where she volunteered for Dentistry of the Heart, here at Sleep Dentistry of Portland, and then shortly after joined the team.
Shayla enjoys making connections with her patients, making sure they are comfortable, and jumping in to help wherever necessary. She loves watching patients who were once terrified to walk through the door, build trust to the point where they may not need sedation anymore.
Shayla recently moved to Sandy, got engaged, and is planning a wedding. Outside the office, you can find Shayla doing what she loves, and that is being a mom to her daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, cooking, kayaking/paddleboarding, country concerts, and happy hour with good company.
