If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental implants offer a permanent, secure, and natural-looking solution for restoring your smile. At Sleep Dentistry, we provide advanced implant dentistry for patients in Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, with expert surgical placement, single and multi-site restoration, and full-mouth rehabilitation to help you regain confidence in your smile.
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of biocompatible titanium, surgically placed into the jawbone to support crowns, bridges, or dentures. They provide a long-lasting, stable foundation that mimics natural teeth in both function and appearance.
✔ Permanent & Long-Lasting – Unlike dentures or bridges, implants fuse with the jawbone for lifelong stability.
✔ Look & Feel Natural – Designed to match the appearance and function of real teeth.
✔ Preserve Jawbone & Prevent Bone Loss – Stimulates bone growth, preventing facial sagging caused by missing or shifting teeth.
✔ No Impact on Adjacent Teeth – Unlike traditional bridges, implants don’t require modifying the neighboring healthy teeth.
✔ Improved Chewing & Speaking – Provides superior function compared to removable dentures and partials.
✔ Comfortable & Secure – No slipping, shifting, or discomfort like traditional dentures.
At Sleep Dentistry, we offer comprehensive implant dentistry solutions, including:
✔ Precise, safe placement of implants using advanced digital 3D imaging.
✔ Minimally invasive techniques for faster healing and reduced discomfort.
✔ Sedation options available for a stress-free experience.
✔ Single Tooth Implants – Replace one missing tooth with a custom crown.
✔ Multiple Tooth Implants – Permanently secure bridges or partial dentures without impacting nearby teeth.
✔ Full-Arch Implants – Replace an entire arch of teeth with implant-supported dentures, often referred to as All-on-4 or All-on-x implant retained dentures.
✔ Complete smile restoration for patients missing most or even all their teeth.
✔ Customized treatment plans combining implants, crowns, and bridges.
✔ Enhances both function and aesthetics for long-term oral health.
✔ Prepares the jawbone for successful implant placement for patients with bone loss.
✔ Enhances bone density for a stable and long-lasting foundation.
✔ Improves overall implant success rates.
✔ A secure alternative to traditional removable dentures.
✔ No slipping, adhesives, or discomfort—just natural function and comfort.
✔ Ideal for patients seeking full-mouth tooth replacement with enhanced stability.
You may be a candidate for dental implants if you:
✔ Have one or more missing teeth and want a permanent replacement.
✔ Have good overall oral health and sufficient jawbone density.
✔ Want a secure, natural-looking solution without relying on removable dentures.
✔ Are in good general health and with no conditions that could slow or prevent proper healing.
If you have bone loss, bone grafting may be recommended to strengthen and increase the amount of bone, prior to implant placement.
Dental implants offer the most advanced tooth replacement solution available, giving you a fully functional, natural-looking smile that lasts a lifetime. At Sleep Dentistry, our team is dedicated to providing expert care, advanced technology, and a stress-free experience.
Schedule your implant consultation today at our Portland, OR, or Vancouver, WA locations to explore your tooth replacement options!
We begin with a thorough exam and 3D digital imaging to assess your oral health and determine the best implant solution for you.
Using minimally invasive techniques, we surgically place the implant into the jawbone. Sedation options are available for maximum comfort.
Depending on the density, thickness and height of bone, it can take from a few weeks to a few months, for the implant to fuse with the jawbone to create a strong, permanent foundation.
Once the implants are strongly secured and adequate healing has taken place, a custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached to restore full function and aesthetics. For patients with more optimal bone conditions, the restoration can often be placed the same day as the surgical implant placement.
